ANNOUNCEMENTS
To avoid making costly errors, please pay close attention
to all announcements made from the auction stand, especially
concerning horses on which you intend to bid.
Unless announced otherwise, TWO-YEAR-OLDS IN TRAINING WARRANTIES
apply to all horses in this sale. Before bidding, please read
carefully ALL the Conditions of Sale, especially Conditions ELEVENTH
(Bone Pathology) and FIFTEENTH (Arbitration), each of which includes
updated language.
INSPECTION OF SALE HORSES
All two-year-olds in training are required to be in their
assigned barns by Wednesday, June 25, 1977. All Horses of racing
Age are required to be in their assigned barns by Saturday, June
28, 1997. Showing/Inspection times generally from 8:00 a.m. to
4:00 p.m. (unless other arrangements are made with individual
consignors). Contact the sales office for current information.
RADIOGRAPH AND LARYNGOSCOPIC VIDEOTAPE LIBRARY
Consignors may voluntarily submit standardized radiographs
and video tapes of laryngoscopic exams to be filed in the Library,
which, for the sale will be located in the Barrets sales office.
Viewing will be limited to equine veterinarians and their clients.
VIEWING FEES: Radiographs (44 views, all major joints - $25.00
per horse; Laryngoscopic Tapes - $10.00 per horse. Further details
will be available at the sale.
THE MAINTENANCE OF THE LIBRARY BY BARRETTS SHALL NOT IN ANY
WAY CHANGE ANY OF THE PROVISIONS IN THE CONDITIONS OF SALE CONTAINED
IN THE SALE CATALOG. BARRETTS WILL NOT REVIEW THE LIBRARY INFORMATION
AND MAKES NO WARRANTY OR ASSURANCE OF ANY KIND CONCERNING THE
AUTHENTICITY OR ACCURACY OF THE LIBRARY INFORMATION, ALL OF WHICH
SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONSIGNOR.
