THIS DISPERSAL WILL BE CONDUCTED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS WITH RESPECT
TO MOST PHYSICAL CONDITIONS.
Please read the Conditions of Sale carefully since they differ from Barretts'
standard Conditions. Please note that CONDITIONS TENTH, TWELFTH, and FIFTEENTH
are materially different from the corresponding Conditions in Barretts'
previous catalogs.
INSPECTIONS OF DISPERSAL HORSES The pre-sale locations of individual
horses are identified at the bottom of each catalogue page. PLEASE BE SURE
TO CONTACT NARVICK INTERNATIONAL (858) 509-0599 TO MAKE INSPECTION APPOINTMENTS
AT THOSE LOCATIONS. The Dispersal horses are scheduled to arrive at Barretts
during the week prior to the sale. Contact Barretts or Narvick International
to confirm the scheduled arrival date of any particular horse. Current locations
and arrival dates are subject to change.
VETERINARY REPOSITORY The Veterinary Repository will be located
in the North end of Barn 9. Beginning on Thursday, July 20, Repository hours
will be 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. On sale day the Repository will remain open
until the sale's conclusion. There will be no charge for reviewing Repository
information, however viewing of Radiographs will be limited to licensed
veterinarians and their clients.
It is the intention of 505 Farms to place on file a standardized set
of radiographs (42 views, taken within 21 days of sale) for each yearling
and horse of racing age (including two-year-olds) in the sale. At its discretion
505 Farms may also submit pertinent Veterinary Certificates for inclusion
in the Repository. Any information on file in the Repository will be provided
for informational purpose only and will not constitute a warranty of any
kind, either by inclusion or omission.
THE MAINTENANCE OF THE REPOSITORY BY BARRETTS SHALL NOT IN ANY WAY ALTER
ANY OF THE PROVISIONS IN THE CONDITIONS OF SALE. BARRETTS WILL NOT REVIEW
THE REPOSITORY INFORMATION AND MAKES NO WARRANTY OR ASSURANCE OF ANY KIND
CONCERNING THE AUTHENTICITY OR ACCURACY OF THE REPOSITORY INFORMATION
ANNOUNCEMENTS To avoid making costly errors, please pay close
attention to all announcements made from the auction stand, especially concerning
horses on which you intend to bid.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PURCHASE After making the final bid on a horse,
you will be asked to complete and sign the Acknowledgment of Purchase form.
Be sure to confirm the correct hip number and price before you sign. Please
print your name and address Clearly, since this document is used for Jockey
Club Certificate transfers, invoicing, and in publishing sale results.
X-RAY AND ENDOSCOPIC SERVICES AVAILABLE Chino Valley Equine Hospital
will operate a clinic in the southeast corner of Barn 9 to service the needs
of buyers and their clients or veterinarians beginning July 19th.
PARKING Valet parking will be available on sale day in front of
the pavilion. For self parking, please turn right after entering Gate 12.
Please refer to map of complex on page 12 in printed catalog.
SEATING There will be open seating for this sale, however if you would like to reserve specific seats, please contact Barretts Sales Office well in advance of the sale.
PAVILION RESTAURANT The Pavilion Restaurant and Lounge will be
available for food and beverage beginning Friday, July 21st. An outdoor
Barbeque Dinner will be available on sale day beginning at 4:00 p.m.
STAKES ENGAGEMENTS Unless announced otherwise, all eligibility
payments due after date of sale are the responsibility of the buyer, who
should promptly notify the proper Racing Associations as to the new ownership
in order to receive direct billing. Please refer to pages A-8 and A-9 in
printed catalog.
EVA (EQUINE VIRAL ARTERITIS) A list of horses which have been
tested for EVA (within 60 days of the sale) will be available in the sales
office.
CARE OF HORSES AFTER SALE Although it is the consignor's responsibility
to provide care and feed for animals until noon the day following purchase,
please be reminded that title passes at the fall of the hammer, at which
time the purchaser assumes all risk and responsibility for the horse. All
horses must be moved from the sale premises in a timely fashion. Any delays
must be approved by the stable manager and may be subject to stabling fees.
STABLE RELEASE In order to remove a horse from the grounds, you
must obtain a Stable Release from the sales office. Please confirm that
the release you obtain represents the correct hip number. Also, be sure
to give the release to the person ultimately responsible for removing your
horse from the grounds.
JOCKEY CLUB CERTIFICATES Jockey Club Certificates of Registration
will be mailed 15 business days from the receipt of payment in full for
all horses. Cash, wire transfers, or certified funds will expedite the release
of registration certificates.
EXPORT REQUIREMENTS When a horse is to be exported to a country
outside of the United States, Puerto Rico, or Canada, a Certificate of Exportation
must be obtained from The Jockey Club within 90 days of exportation. If
for any reason the requirements are not completed within 90 days of exportation,
the Certificate of Exportation may be obtained only after the approval by
the Stewards of the Jockey Club and the payment of additional fees.
All horses in the sale have been tested Coggins Negative within six months
of the date of sale. |
